The currently in progress Residence Inn sits on an iconic parcel of land that serves as the gatekeeper of the Rt. 90 bridge entering Ocean City. Formerly occupied by a health club and restaurant complex, the 150 room structure will feature a pool and bay views. A variable refrigerant flow (VRF) mechanical system will be used that is more efficient and quieter than conventional systems. The upscale hotel caters particularly to extended-stay guests offering larger rooms and one-bedroom suites.
